Assistant Principal: Business & Skills Intelligence, The Manchester College (LTE Group)
The Manchester College is part of the LTE Group, the first integrated education and skills group of its kind, and the largest social enterprise in the country dedicated to learning, training and employment. As Assistant Principal (Industry Excellence and Skills Intelligence) at The Manchester College, I'm responsible for ensuring that our curriculum is informed about, and aligned to, the current and future skills needs of our regions many, varied and vibrant industries including the Green and Zero Carbon Agendas.
With a prior history as Assistant Principal for Automotive, Construction, Engineering and Logistics at the Manchester College, I’ve developed and implemented solutions within STEM subjects, including the successful introduction of T Levels in Construction, and most recently Engineering and Manufacturing.
Experienced in partnership working, I've developed curriculum along multiple funding lines in key priority areas including Retro Fit, Renewables, Electric Vehicles and Logistics. These collaborative approaches have enabled The Manchester College, to connect our communities to opportunity, positively impact on the life chances of our students and provide regional inclusive growth, that supports local industries to meet their current business targets and develop resources to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
