Melania Tarquino

Strategic Energy Lead, Surrey County Council

Melania is the Strategic Energy Lead within the Greener Futures team at Surrey County Council. She leads the team that works to realise Surrey County Council's ambitions to become a net zero Council in its buildings and operations by 2030, and for Surrey to become a net zero county by 2050. Previously she worked for the non-profit and for the private sectors on renewable energy and environmental management matters. She holds a master in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London and a bachelor in Environmental Management, and she is a member of the Future Leaders Council at the UKRI's Natural Environment Research Council.
