Founder of www.IndiNature.co - a materials innovation company with an industrial-scale hemp and flax construction insulation mill, grown and made in the UK.
While working in community development with people in poor housing conditions I was motivated to improve the built environment. After completing an MSc in Architecture (Advanced Environmental and Energy Systems) and doing lab-based research into natural building materials I rebuilt my family home with them in Scotland - using skills gained as a housebuilder in Vancouver. I then set up IndiNature with co-founders to make the biggest possible positive impacts on the climate, the environment and people's health in the construction materials sector.
