Sustainable Energy Projects Lead, Thanet District Council
Eve has over 20 years' experience of working with Kent's local authorities in the areas of energy conservation, fuel poverty and climate change. Her passion for these topics has seen her hold roles both at local and county level, where she has facilitated a step change in delivery by attracting funding for installations and schemes, developing partnerships including the provision of advice and producing strategies to reduce carbon emissions in the county. She now focuses her efforts in Thanet, where for the past five months she has been the local authority's Home Energy Officer. She wants to share with others the opportunities that may be coming for the sector in the next year or so and how we can prepare for these as authorities, installers, designers and as a county.
