Heat Pump Month, with Mitsubishi Electric (6 July)
With heating emissions accounting for roughly a third of the UK's Green House Gas emissions and legislation requiring the UK to be net zero by 2050, alternative solutions to the existing means of heating our buildings are being sought. Additionally, awareness of low carbon heating solutions is increasing rapidly and with a Committee for Climate Change (CCC) report identifying that in order to meet our decarbonisation targets, across GB; "up to 2 million heat pumps by 2025, rising to 15 million by 2035" will need to be in service.
To support these aims, we will be hosting our Ecodan heating; Serious about sustainability event. We will seek to provide an insight into how air source heat pumps are anticipated to play a crucial role in meeting NetZero requirements whilst offering a cost effective, simple solution.
With the express aims of creating a foundation for future learning plus generating greater awareness and subsequently confidence in heat pump technology, we therefore invite you to join our event for presentations and networking with people alike. We aim to answer any questions you have on the day. We look forward to seeing you there.
