Head of Building Better, Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions
Alex is Chair of the BSI Retrofit Standards Task Group, tasked with identifying and delivering new British Standards for Retrofit, and sits on the PAS 2035 steering group. He co-chairs the upcoming Retrofit Coordinator Apprenticeship standard with IfATE and is involved in government working groups, advisory groups and industry bodies. An expert in building physics and renewable energy, focusing on human comfort and the eradication of fuel poverty, Alex is also a technical author or editor of industry guides such as the Passivhaus Guide to Airtightness.
He is Head of Building Better at Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, the collective home of British Gypsum, Celotex and Isover.
