Cara has been part of the Net Zero Homes team at Citizens Advice since 2022. She is strategic lead for the Decarbonisation of Heat and has led projects into consumer demand for retrofit measures as well as the need for better energy efficiency standards in the private rented sector.
Cara joined Citizens Advice in 2017 and previously worked in the Post and Telecoms team. Before Citizens Advice Cara held various positions in local government as well as teaching statistics and research methods at Cardiff University.
