Prof. Lori McElroy
Lori McElroy has a background spanning environmental engineering, architecture and design and has been active in the sustainability, energy and environmental field for the last 25 years both in practice and in education. Before joining BRE to head up Energy Performance and Research in Scotland, Lori spent six years at Architecture and Design Scotland as Head of Sustainability. Prior to this she was responsible for the Sust. Programme at The Lighthouse, Scotland's Centre for Architecture Design and the City for five years. She previously spent 15 years at the University of Strathclyde, where she directed the DTi’s Energy Design Advice Scheme in Scotland, and a follow on technology transfer initiative, the Scottish Energy Systems Group.
