Environment Strategy Programme Manager, Kent County Council

Bethany is the Environment Strategy Programme Manager for Kent County Council and Chair of the Kent Climate Change Network. She leads and coordinates activity in partnership towards Kent’s sustainability, waste, biodiversity and Net Zero 2050 climate change targets. Bethany is the strategic lead under Kent’s Energy and Low Emissions Strategy for emission reduction pathways and domestic retrofit. She has a broad range of project delivery and policy experience across local government, including overseeing the delivery of climate change strategies for two south-west London boroughs and supporting the plastics workstream of the pan-London ‘One World Living’ programme aiming to reduce consumption-based emissions.
