I am Senior Lecturer in the department of architecture at Northumbria University.
My research focuses on the application of digital modelling and information management techniques to the design, construction and use of buildings. My previous research work has included digital modelling to support optimisation of embodied carbon in building design, technologies to support long-term access to essential building product information and a wide range of Building Information Modelling projects.
I previously worked as an architect in private practice, subsequently joining Newcastle University as Research Associate and Lecturer prior to several years in industry as R&D Director at NBS in Newcastle.
