Bret is Head of Climate Change & Sustainability for Coventry City Council, responsible for strategic oversight of all energy and environmental programmes across the city. Bret is also Retrofit Lead for the 3 Cities – a unique collaboration between Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton to make these cities great places to live, work and play. By collaborating, they intend to drive pace and scale in addressing complex issues together, with the first priority being the decarbonisation of housing through retrofit. To date, the 3 Cities’ focus has been on driving collaboration through joint funding, exploring private investment options, and engagement with wider stakeholders in central government, regionally and nationally.
