Prior to joining the NLA in 2012, Gavin worked within the energy sector as a consultant. He previously worked for membership organisations in a policy and public affairs role.
Gavin has also been a Counsellor within a unitary authority, including a period as Cabinet Member with responsibility for planning and environment.
He graduated from Loughborough University in Politics and then gained a Diploma in Law (Birmingham).
