Wendy has a background in skills, higher education and degree apprenticeship development. She has worked across a wide range of sectors, recently developing degree apprenticeships in architecture, surveying, nursing and leadership and management.
Wendy is the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Partnership Manager for Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester. CITB is the Industry Training Board and a partner in the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales. CITB delivers on three priority areas for the construction industry: careers, standards and qualifications and training and development.
Amongst other services, CITB funds initiatives which help industry address the skills gap in construction. CITB all produces research and insight about construction for policy makers, employers and organisations interested in the industry including local labour forecasting.
